Leading up to yesterday’s 100m finals, most of the attention on Yohan Blake and his new ultra-light Richard Mille timepiece.
Although Blake ran an admirable race, it was the defending champ Usain
Bolt who came away with the gold medal in a lightning fast 9.63
seconds. Bolt becomes the second person ever to win consecutive gold
medals in the event. This of course makes Hublot happy, as Bolt is one
of the brand’s most prominent Ambassadors. The Hublot King Power
“Usain Bolt” edition was introduced this past May. If you haven’t seen
it,
Given that Bolt has gone away from the gold
racing shoes in the 2012, Olympics it would not surprise me to see a
“refresh” of this model sometime this year. Stay tuned in for the 2oo
meter race later this week!
