Do you remember the 29-piece limited edition Oktopus Moonphase dive
watch by Linde Werdelin? Debuting in 2010, the Oktopus Moonphase diver
watch featured a titanium case, rose gold bezel, helium escape value,
888 meters water resistance, and — most curiously — a photo-realistic
moonphase indicator created by renowned watchmaker Svend Andersen.
I thought you might appreciate this live photo of the moonphase —
even though it is a bit fuzzy, you can see how cool that moonphase
indicator is at night. Original price on this watch was north of
$21,000, but I believe it is sold out (and probably very hard to find in
the secondary market).
